Perfectly situated in the beautiful Royal Town of Sutton Coldfield, Cavershamplace has two lovely properties which are just a few minutes’ walk apart. The varied facilities of the town centre are within a five minute walk, whether you are wanting shops, restaurants, bars or just a little supermarket, so you can stock up on goodies to make the most of the large well-equipped kitchens. Both properties are also very close to Sutton Park, the outstanding 2,400-acre National Nature Reserve complete with wild ponies!
Sutton Coldfield is less than fifteen minutes’ drive from any of the M6 Toll, M6 J5/6 and M42 J9 so could not be easier to reach from any direction. We are also less than ten minutes’ walk from Sutton Coldfield train station, with its 18-minute journey into Birmingham New Street station and we are always happy to arrange for a taxi to collect you if you have luggage (if we can't collect you ourselves for any reason).
The NEC, Birmingham International Airport, Birmingham City Centre with the wonderful Bullring shopping and leisure facilities, the NIA and the ICC, are all within a short (under half an hour) drive or train journey – and Sutton Coldfield is a much nicer, and certainly quieter place to stay than the middle of the City.
The two Sutton Coldfield self-catering properties are:
- Highview, for serious 5 star self-catering (postcode B73). Highview is our most beautiful property with 3 superkingsize bedrooms plus 2 sofabeds, so sleeps a maximum of 9 people although temporary beds can also be added. With one room being a huge romantic yet contemporary 4-poster, comfy lounge with 6ft cinema screen, Playstation 3 and free library of over 300 DVDs, books and games, plus a billiard table which converts to a formal dining table, and a large dining kitchen equipped with every appliance and gadget you could hope for, and so much more than you will ever have experienced before, Highview really is self-catering with sophistication. Please click here for more details.
- Jacey, our lovely 2-bedroom apartment. With one kingsize room and one twin room, plus a double sofabed in the lounge, separate newly refitted kitchen and bathroom, Jacey provides excellent cost-effective accommodation for up to 5 adults, or 4 adults and 2 children (postcode B72). Essential if you have little ones you want to put to bed in a separate room so you can enjoy the evening! Located just a few minutes' walk from Highview so if there is a large group who can’t fit in the one property, you could take both and you’ll be very close by. So much nicer than being cooped up in a single hotel or B&B room! Please click here for more details.
Self-catering in Sutton Coldfield is something of a rarity, which we find amazing considering our fantastic central location, with such easy access to motorways and all of the areas' attractions. These include Cadbury World, West Midlands Safari Park, and of course, Drayton Manor and the unique Thomas Land. Our two gorgeous properties give you a choice between cosy bolthole or spacious luxury!
